Store Manager – Convenience Store (C-Store)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee daily operations of our convenience store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing store performance, leading employees, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

The Store Manager will play a key role in achieving operational goals while maintaining company standards for safety, cleanliness, compliance, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all daily store operations
• Lead, train, schedule, and motivate store employees
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue
• Maintain proper inventory levels, conduct ordering, and reduce shrink
• Ensure accurate cash handling procedures and daily cash reconciliation
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
• Manage fuel operations and ensure compliance with company policies
• Monitor product pricing, promotions, and merchandising standards
• Perform employee performance evaluations and provide coaching when needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and local requirements
• Handle opening and closing procedures as required

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor in a convenience store, gas station, retail, or similar environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with inventory management and cash handling
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Must be reliable, organized, and customer-focused

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a C-Store, fuel station, vape/smoke shop, or retail location
• Experience with POS systems and inventory software
• Knowledge of sales reporting and store operations
