Position Purpose
The Helicopter Component Repair and Overhaul Technician will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, testing, repairing, and overhauling helicopter components and subcomponents for a FAA 145 certified repair station. This position reports directly to the Airframe Services Program Manager.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The work environment is often not temperature/humidity controlled. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods, climb ladders, bend, reach, lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 pounds), manual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in awkward positions while kneeling, lying down, or crouching, often in tight spaces within the aircraft; good vision and hearing are also essential to properly inspect and diagnose issues with aircraft systems. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full-time, non-exempt. Must be available, as needed, evenings and weekends for overtime. Onsite or field work position.
Travel
This position may require occasional travel. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
