RESPONSIBILITES (some training provided)
Duties include: keep material storage workshop and outside storage areas safe, clean and well organized; receive and appropriately store materials deliveries and minimize waste; deliver parts, materials, etc. to field crews when needed; stage materials for field crews to load when needed; retrieve and stage materials sold in office and coordinate sale with cashier; keep track of material quantities especially seed types and report to management when quantity of any material gets low (as determined by management); serves as a laborer when required; other duties as assigned;
Operate a track loader and/or forklift
Work with hand tools (brooms, shovels, staple guns, utility knives, etc.)
Positive attitude interacting with customers and co-workers
Additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to physically work outdoors in all types of weather
Strong attention to detail
Be able to work weekends (occasionally) and extended hours as needed
Current and valid driver’s license
Have reliable transportation to work every day
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee is regularly required to: Have full range mobility in upper and lower body; Be able to work by walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching. Good vision requirements include distance vision, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
