Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage the development of innovative audio equipment from the conceptual phase through mass production and quality control.
- Coordinate with other engineering, production, and quality-control staff for
day-to-day operations.
- Communicate with vendors, certification agencies, and customer base.
- Lead constant improvement efforts for current products, including control
activities, failure analysis, process improvement, etc.
- Mentor and train newer engineers and QC staff on standard engineering concepts.
- Assist in manage daily production and manufacturing activities and maintain relevant engineering data and practices.
Key Technical Skills:
- Experience with SolidWorks or other parametric modeling software a plus
- Knowledge of standard manufacturing processes
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and process improvement skills
- Experience in audio, acoustics, or other electronics a plus
Required attributes and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or relevant Process Engineering experience
- Preferred minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or process engineering
- Independent and strong work ethic; self-motivated
