If so, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs), Personal Care Tech (PCT) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our healthcare team across multiple locations, including Loudon, Monroe, Blount, Roane, Cumberland Counties and parts of McMinn & Meigs.
This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in diverse settings such as assisted living facilities, independent living facilities and home care environments. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and relevant experience in various healthcare disciplines. All positions are paid, including internships, with flexible scheduling options to meet both organizational needs and employee preferences.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor vital signs and observe changes in patient condition, reporting findings accurately in medical records
- Medication Reminders and assistance
- Support patients with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's/dementia care, memory care, behavioral health, and hospice care
- Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper use of PPE
- Document patient interactions and care provided using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients across various age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics
- Assist with transfers, mobility exercises, and use of specialized equipment like the Hoyer lift or wheelchair as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times
Qualifications
- Valid CNA or HHA certification required; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
- Experience working in settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, or home health preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Flexibility to work various shifts; some locations may require availability for urgent or acute care situations
- Must pass background checks and drug screening prior to employment

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
