Position Overview
We're looking for a versatile, senior-level Architectural Project Manager to lead projects from schematic design through construction administration while also supporting firm operations. You'll report to the Principals and Account Executive, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Project Management
- Define project scopes, goals, budgets, and timelines; prepare cost estimates, bids, and proposals
- Send RFPs; review contracts, cost reports, and manage change orders
- Oversee design development through CA, ensuring code compliance, quality assurance, and proper documentation (RFIs, submittals, punch lists)
- Coordinate with consulting engineers, subcontractors, and governmental agencies for approvals
- Conduct site visits, track schedules, and manage contractor performance
- Serve as the primary client contact for updates, expectations, and decisions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited college (Masters Degree a plus)
- Licensed Architect in California (required)
- 15–20 years of experience across schematic design through construction administration
- Demonstrated experience with single-family residential projects, consulting engineer coordination, technical detailing, specification research, and agency approvals
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Microsoft Office Suite / Apple Numbers, and estimating/scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project)
- Strong knowledge of California building, zoning, and accessibility codes
Bonus Skills: Mac proficiency, Adobe Creative Suite, BQE Core, DocuSign, BIM tools, AI tools, Twin Motion and/ or other rendering softwares

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $90,000–$150,000 (commensurate with experience)
