Position Overview
Aubergine Kitchen is seeking two highly motivated, commission-driven B2B Catering Sales Representatives to drive growth within assigned territories (Utah/Idaho and Arizona/Nevada). This role is responsible for generating new catering business, building long-term client relationships, and increasing repeat order volume through proactive outreach and exceptional service.
This is a field-based, outside sales role focused on territory ownership, relationship management, and revenue generation.
Key ResponsibilitiesTerritory & Pipeline Management

• Build, manage, and maintain a robust pipeline of corporate catering clients within the assigned territory
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and repeat business development
• Track leads, outreach, and sales activity
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Business Development & Prospecting

• Conduct in-person outreach to local businesses (door-to-door prospecting)
• Identify and target high-value industries such as corporate offices, healthcare, tech, sports teams
• Execute multi-channel outreach strategies including in-person visits, email, phone, and LinkedIn
• Build relationships with office managers, executive assistants, HR teams, and decision-makers

Client Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing catering clients
• Proactively secure recurring catering orders (weekly, monthly, bimonthly, etc)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts within the territory
• Conduct post-order follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business

Catering Promotion & Brand Representation

• Coordinate and host catering tastings and sample drops for prospective clients
• Represent Aubergine Kitchen at local networking events and business functions
• Distribute and track effectiveness of marketing materials including menus, flyers, and promotions

Store & Operations Support

• Partner with local restaurant teams to ensure seamless catering execution
• Deliver updated catering materials and support in-store awareness of local business opportunities
• Assist in resolving customer issues and ensuring a high-quality customer experience

Market Insights & Feedback

• Provide ongoing feedback on customer preferences, pricing sensitivity, and competitive landscape
• Report on the effectiveness of marketing materials and outreach strategies

Reporting & Accountability

• Submit weekly reports including:
• New leads generated
• Meetings and outreach activity
• Orders closed and revenue generated
• Pipeline status and upcoming opportunities
• Track return on investment for outreach efforts and initiatives

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or business development preferred
• Proven ability to generate leads and close new business
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a commission-based role
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Familiarity with local business communities is a plus

• New accounts opened per month
• Total catering revenue generated within territory

• Average order value (AOV) growth
• Number of tastings and client meetings scheduled
