Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join UNC Health Rex in Raleigh, NC. This is a PRN/Per Diem opportunity offering flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients.
• Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with facility standards.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED environment.

Requirements

• Active North Carolina RN License (or Compact RN License if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ED/ER experience
• Current BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• PALS and TNCC preferred (if applicable)
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
