Location: Multiple Locations throughout Mahoning County, including our outpatient clinic in Boardman.
Position Type: School Year (2026–2027) with Potential for Summer Hours

Kids Choice Pediatric Rehab & Therapy Center is seeking an energetic, passionate, and patient-focused Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our growing team!

About the Role

As a COTA/L at Kids Choice, you’ll work closely under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver client-centered, evidence-based therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is a school-year renewing position offering meaningful work in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow treatment plans and goals developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Implement engaging and developmentally appropriate therapy techniques.
• Adapt and tailor activities based on individual client needs.
• Monitor and report client progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising OT, Clinical Director, and Practice Manager.
• Maintain timely, clear, and concise documentation.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication with clients, families, and team members.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Must be a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Ohio.
• Experience: Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Technology: Basic computer proficiency required.
• Clearances: Must pass a criminal background check and obtain child abuse clearances with no record.
• Soft Skills: Highly motivated, compassionate, ethical, and professional with strong communication and organizational abilities.
