J. Navarro Insurance Agency is looking for a licensed, experienced insurance professional to join our team in the office.

This role is for someone who enjoys helping clients, can handle service requests professionally, and is also comfortable identifying sales opportunities. The right candidate should be dependable, organized, bilingual in English and Spanish, and able to work in a fast-paced agency environment.

This is not a remote position. The employee must work from our office.

Applicants must have an active Property and Casualty license and insurance experience within the last year. Preference will be given to candidates with Farmers Insurance experience.

Salary Range: $25.00 per hour

Hourly Base Salary + Commission

• • Active Property and Casualty insurance license required
  • Insurance experience within the last year required
  • Must be able to work in office
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
  • Farmers Insurance experience strongly preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable with both service work and sales follow-up
  • Ability to explain coverage clearly and professionally
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work in a structured agency environment
  • Comfortable using agency management systems, carrier systems, email, phone, and basic computer tools
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be coached

• • Serve as a main point of contact for existing and prospective clients by phone, email, and in person
  • Assist clients with billing questions, policy changes, coverage questions, renewals, and general service requests
  • Quote and support personal lines insurance, including auto, home, renters, umbrella, and related policies
  • Follow up with new leads, current clients, renewal opportunities, and quote opportunities
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and help clients understand additional coverage options
  • Review policies for accuracy, missing discounts, coverage gaps, and retention opportunities
  • Support agency production, service, retention, and follow-up goals
  • Maintain accurate client notes, follow-up dates, and documentation in agency systems
  • Communicate professionally in both English and Spanish
  • Work as part of a team focused on client service, growth, and accountability
