The Boston University Department of Athletics is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Fan Engagement Coordinator. This position is responsible for group outreach and supporting the in-game experience.

This is an 8-month paid position in Athletic Marketing Communications with a monthly salary range between $2,800 and $3,000. Evening and weekend work is required.

Duties Include:

• Operating game day videoboard and digital signage
• Supervising and directing on-site with the student staff
• Producing static graphic content for videoboards
• Assisting with community outreach, department kids club and attendance driven initiatives
• Assisting with mascot team management and scheduling
• Representing Athletics at tabling and other grass roots opportunities on campus and in the community
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of, and demonstrated interest in, intercollegiate athletics and fan engagement
• Knowledge with Daktronics Display Studio preferred
• Experience with the Adobe Design Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign, software preferred
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
• Knowledge of best practices for game day fan experience
• Knowledge of social media trends and best practices
