Doc Houston is an elevated cuisine restaurant with live music, delivering refined dining and unforgettable experiences. We are looking for a creative and detail-driven Pastry Cook to join our culinary team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute desserts, breads, and pastries according to recipes and plating standards
Assist in menu development, seasonal specials, and creative pastry presentations
Ensure consistency, quality, and portion control across all pastry items
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage in the pastry station
Manage prep lists, inventory rotation, and mise en place for service
Uphold all food safety, sanitation and HACCP standards
Qualifications:
1–2 years of experience in a pastry/baking role (restaurant or bakery) preferred
Strong technical skills in baking, pastry, and dessert plating
Attention to detail and artistic presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
