The Center for Applied Behavioral Instruction offers a highly competitive salary ranging from $70,000 – $80,000, commensurate with experience.

Schedule:

• The full-time position is school-based working from Monday through Friday generally from (8:00am – 4:00pm), a 226 day school year.
• Small case load, no more than 8 students per classroom.

Time Off:

• February school break week, April school break week, week of the 4th of July, and the week between Christmas and New Year’s.
• Paid holidays including Labor Day, Columbus Day, MLK Day, Memorial Day and Wednesday-Friday the week of Thanksgiving.
• Additional 9 days of sick and personal time also available.

Sign on Bonus

• $5,000 sign on bonus

Job Description:

The BCBA is responsible for the development, assessment, and analysis of instructional and behavioral programs, curriculum modification, data analysis, and functional analysis of aberrant behaviors for our clients. The BCBA is responsible for the supervision of Instructional Assistants in order to ensure treatment fidelity. The BCBA conducts formal assessments (e.g., ABLLS, VB- Mapp, etc.) and writes individualized education plan goals in coordination with the classroom special education teacher. The BCBA participates in staff training. The BCBA coordinates monthly clinics with the client’s parents to formally review the data and provide parent training. Ideal candidates have experience as a BCBA, Board Certified BA.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Experience with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities with accompanying behavioral disorders.
• Ability, with training, to perform appropriate physical restraint as needed.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with colleagues and supervisors.
• Displays an ability to articulate well in both verbal and written communication.
• Displays ability to coordinate with others, contributes to instructional knowledge in identifiable and demonstrated ways, helps resolve conflicts when they arise; conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times.
• Excellent attention to detail.
