Position Summary
The Regional Field Controller for SNF oversees the financial operations, full cycle billing, collections and A/R management, cash flow management, and payer reimbursement processes for 5 skilled nursing facilities in accordance with all laws, regulations, and LCCA standards. Reports to Division Field Controller. Facilities are located in the Greater Seattle Area.
Education & Experience
Must have supervisory experience; this position leads the Business Office teams for 5 locations
5+ years of experience in SNF with Washington Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, insurance and private pay payers preferred
Essential Functions
Must assist with selection, training, and support of Business Office Managers
Must train and support Business Office staff on an ongoing basis in a variety of financial software areas (i.e., PointClickCare, RFMS, ADP)
Must identify, report, and serve as part of the solution to issues discovered in the Business Office functions
Must visit assigned facilities at least quarterly to assess business office functions and assist as needed
Must practice dependable, regular attendance
Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
Must be able to communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team
Specific Requirements
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and e-mail
Must be willing and able to travel
Must be willing to work beyond normal working hours as necessary
Must be knowledgeable of SNF business office procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care
Must have the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality financial services
The minimum salary is $90K and the max salary is $105K.
