Summary
This role is well suited for someone with approximately three years of technical sales, applications engineering, field sales, or customer-facing engineering experience who wants to build a long-term career in industrial technology sales.
You will work with utility engineering, operations, maintenance, reliability, and electrical safety teams to understand customer challenges and recommend Grace solutions that improve safety, compliance, reliability, and uptime.
You will partner closely with account managers, territory sales teams, distributors, engineering firms, OEMs, and Grace product specialists. Over time, you will develop the technical and commercial experience required to manage larger accounts and more complex opportunities independently.
Reporting to the Director of Vertical Market Strategy, the Jr. Vertical Seller will own a defined target account list, build long-cycle relationships with corporate electrical safety, operations, maintenance, and engineering stakeholders, and partner with Grace's territory sales organization, distributor network, and product teams to convert utility opportunities into repeatable, specified revenue.

Preferred Qualifications
This position requires regular domestic travel to customer sites, industry events, and partner locations.
Language Skills
Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation. Ability to efficiently use Google translate to support customers in other languages.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as pricing, quotes, and discounts. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical issues involving a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have sufficient knowledge of industry accepted ERP and CRM system, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook. A general understanding of industry SCADA systems and other communication protocols would be helpful.

Work Environment
The work environment includes a combination of home- or office-based work, customer meetings, industrial facilities, power generation sites, utility environments, and industry events.
The noise level is generally moderate but may be higher when visiting industrial or operating facilities. Appropriate safety training and personal protective equipment will be provided or required when entering customer locations.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
