El Greco Woodworking is hiring a full-time rough mill and plywood sawyer for our First Street production facility.

This position supports furniture production by cutting solid lumber and plywood components accurately and safely according to production requirements.

Schedule

Monday–Friday
7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Operation and tailing of rough mill machines including saws, planer, moulder, etc. May include other work. Ability to remember and repeat processes is very important.

Responsibilities

• Operate saws and related woodworking equipment
• Cut lumber and plywood to required dimensions
• Read cut lists, measurements, and production instructions
• Inspect material for defects and proper grain or appearance
• Verify dimensions and quantities
• Organize cut components for downstream production
• Follow machine-safety and material-handling procedures
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Successful candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, comfortable with measurements, and able to handle lumber and sheet goods in a production environment. Previous woodworking, saw operation, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
