Mouldagraph Corporation is now hiring an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role supports custom machining, repair, fabrication, quoting, and reverse-engineering work by helping translate customer needs, drawings, damaged parts, and shop requirements into practical manufacturing plans. The ideal candidate combines a strong machining background with an organized, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work closely with customers, shop foremen, machinists, welders, and leadership to move complex jobs from evaluation through production.

Responsibilities
- Review customer drawings, blueprints, sketches, samples, and worn or damaged parts to help determine practical manufacturing and repair approaches.
- Support reverse-engineering work to help restore parts and components back to OEM specifications or better.
- Measure parts, gears, fabricated structures, and damaged components with precision instruments to support blueprint development, repair planning, and quoting.
- Help prepare quotes for manufactured, repaired, and reverse-engineered parts.
- Assist with basic metal analysis and practical material evaluation when needed.
- Develop job plans, takeoffs, estimates, work scopes, and production notes for custom machining, repair, and fabrication projects.
- Work with shop foremen, machinists, welders, and supervisors to identify tooling, material, sequencing, and process requirements.
- Provide ideas for structural repairs, part rebuilds, and practical manufacturing approaches.
- Help evaluate in-process challenges and coordinate practical solutions when job conditions change.
- Interact with customers when needed to clarify requirements, dimensions, timelines, and expectations.
- Use precision measurement tools and inspection methods to identify dimensions, wear, damage, and repair requirements.
- Support continuous improvement in estimating, quoting, job handoff, documentation, and production workflow.
- Help maintain an even workflow by communicating clearly, staying organized, and juggling multiple bids, projects, and deadlines.
- Follow all safety rules and support a quality-focused, team-oriented shop environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a machine shop, manufacturing, repair, fabrication, or related industrial environment preferred.
- Strong machining background strongly preferred, including practical understanding of conventional and CNC machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, customer sketches, and repair requirements.
- Experience with reverse engineering, job estimating, quote preparation, manufacturing planning, or production support is highly valuable.
- Knowledge or experience quoting manufactured parts preferred.
- Knowledge of materials, tooling, tolerances, fits, finishes, measurement tools, and practical shop constraints.
- CAD/CAM, drafting, or blueprint-development experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, bids, deadlines, and job details.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work with customers, shop foremen, machinists, welders, and management.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive can-do attitude, reliable attendance, and commitment to teamwork and safety.
