Lift Solutions provides end-to-end industrial lifting solutions, including OSHA compliance inspections, crane equipment, and aftermarket services and parts for overhead cranes, rigging, and other lifting equipment. We are hiring a Manager, Reporting, Analysis & Business Intelligence to join our team in Conshohocken, PA. This is a build role. The successful candidate will design and build a world-class reporting and analytics function from the ground up. Results and output from this role carry visibility at every level of the organization, up to and including the CEO, making this a high-impact, high-exposure position from day one.
This role demands a strong sense of urgency and the ability to consistently deliver at speed. This person will combine financial and operational analysis with business intelligence to support fast-moving, data-driven decisions in a private equity-backed environment where reporting demands shift quickly with acquisitions, board requirements, and evolving business needs.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing and implementing (not just operating) BI and data warehouse architecture, thrives under tight deadlines, and is comfortable being the primary owner of ambiguous, high-visibility problems.
Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Consolidation, Reporting & Analysis
- Design and manage dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics from the ground up for executive, board, and sponsor (PE firm) reporting.
- Own ad hoc and recurring reporting for executive leadership and private equity ownership, often under compressed timelines.
- Translate complex data into actionable insight; deliver monthly summary reporting identifying key drivers of financial results.
- Lead integration of newly acquired entities into reporting infrastructure — a recurring, high-frequency responsibility in an active M&A environment. Partner with IT and Planful support to ensure each acquisition is reporting-ready on an accelerated timeline.
- Serve as system administrator for Planful; build and refine reporting architecture (not just upkeep) to support month-end close and budgeting cycles at scale.
Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Strategy
- Design, build, and implement the data warehouse and BI framework from the ground up, including data governance policies and standards.
- Lead technical integration of data warehouse and Power BI tools, architecting solutions that can scale with continued acquisition activity.
- Drive predictive and prescriptive analytics initiatives, including AI-based reporting tools, to give ownership and leadership a competitive analytical edge.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Independently manage cross-functional projects and work teams with minimal oversight.
- Partner with IT, Finance, and Operations to align data strategy across a growing, multi-entity organization.
- Present findings and recommendations directly to senior leadership, the CEO, and private equity stakeholders; comfortable defending analysis under scrutiny.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience designing and implementing BI/data warehouse systems from scratch.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver at speed in a private equity-backed or high-growth, fast-paced environment, including exposure to board/sponsor-level reporting.
- Track record supporting M&A integration — bringing acquired entities into reporting and financial systems quickly.
- Strong expertise in data warehousing, BI/visualization tools (Power BI required), and statistical/predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Power Query, or equivalent data modeling languages.
- Experience with financial consolidation and planning platforms (Planful strongly preferred).
- High tolerance for ambiguity and shifting priorities; self-directed, with a bias toward building solutions rather than waiting for direction.
- Comfortable operating with high visibility and accountability, with output regularly reviewed at the executive and CEO level.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to communicate confidently with executives, private equity sponsors, and cross-functional teams.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 8–10+ years in analytics, reporting, or BI, with at least a portion of that in a PE-backed, M&A-active, or similarly high-growth environment.
- Direct experience designing and building (not just administering) BI/data warehouse systems required.
- Experience with Planful and Power BI highly preferred.
