The Project Manager/Environmental Scientist will be situated in one of our two New Jersey locations, either Washington (Warren County), or Forked River (Ocean County). The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating complex environmental projects to ensure that the goals and objectives of the project and client are accomplished within prescribed timeframes, regulatory requirements and budgets. Some projects will include complex, multi-media, and/or multi-contaminant investigations/remediations. The individual(s) in this position will also be responsible for the training of junior technical staff, and for responding to client inquiries in a timely and effective manner, as well as for developing business with existing client bases.

Job Responsibilities

• Two Positions are available, one in Washington NJ and one in forked River, NJ.
• Work in a professional office setting, performing project administration, budgeting and environmental planning/reporting activities. Periodic field oversight of various phases of investigations and remediation activities may be necessary.
• Work collaboratively with LSRPs and other environmental professionals during the design and implementation of various types of environmental studies.
• Possesses strong technical capabilities.
• Prepares and reviews NJDEP technical reports including Preliminary Assessments, Remedial Investigations, Remedial Action Workplans/Reports, and Remedial Action Permits for both soil and groundwater.
• Will develop and maintain both existing and new client relationships.
• Remote working is possible for the ideal candidate.

Qualified candidates should have B.S. in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology or related field and have a minimum of three to seven years of experience. Candidates having a current OSHA HAZWOPR training is considered to be a plus. A valid driver’s license is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
