Short term position! Come work in a different nursing environment in beautiful Vermont caring for our campers at our rustic wilderness focused camp. And if you have a child, they could enroll in one of our camps!

Our Camp Nurses are responsible for providing and coordinating high quality health care for the camp community, including but not limited to frequent communication with campers and appropriate staff; ensuring parent notification and incident reporting policies are followed, tracking medical visits, medical supplies, first aid kits, camper medications and playing a role in emergency response. They are responsible to open and close their infirmaries.

Qualifications & Experience:

• RN or LPN certification required
• Preferred experience provided healthcare to children and young adults
• Openness to work with people (both staff and campers) from diverse backgrounds (e.g., economic, racial, religious, political, geographical, sexual orientation, gender, cultural)
• Ability to observe staff and camper behavior, enforce safety, follow emergency protocols, and apply appropriate behavior management techniques
