Five Star Bath Solutions has expanded across two large territories in Northwest Illinois and Southern Wisconsin — and we are looking for a General Manager with strong sales and marketing instincts to take a live, funded, reputation-driven business to the next level.

This is a General Manager role — not a sales manager role. We are looking for someone with a strong background in marketing and sales who has grown a business, managed a P&L, and knows how to build a team that performs consistently. If that describes you, read on.

Two territories. Opened November 2023. Already earning this: 5.0 stars across 110 Google reviews in our Rockford territory and 4.9 stars across 85 Google reviews in our Elgin territory.

What you're walking into

The business is real. Marketing is running at $60K per month generating 600–700 leads. The install team is in place. A Five Star internal consultant works directly with this location on a biweekly basis and a proven sales playbook is your foundation.

What is missing is the right General Manager to capture what the marketing investment already supports. Appointment set rates and close rates both have significant room to move — and a GM who understands the full commercial opportunity will see where the leverage is immediately.

The owner is directly accessible, makes decisions fast, and has committed the capital to build this right. You will have full autonomy to evolve the sales and marketing process. The system is a starting point — your commercial leadership is the differentiator.

What you will do

• Own the full commercial operation — sales performance, marketing ROI, team development, and revenue growth
• Evaluate and optimize a $60K/month marketing investment across multiple lead channels
• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing in-home sales team through structured coaching and accountability
• Optimize the lead-to-appointment conversion process — the highest-leverage fix in the current marketing funnel
• Own all commercial KPIs: lead efficiency, appointment set rate, close rate, and revenue per appointment
• Scale install capacity alongside sales growth — protect a reputation that took three years to build
• Report directly to the owner — no layers, no committee, no waiting

Who we're looking for

• A proven General Manager with a background in marketing and sales — P&L ownership experience required
• Someone who understands the full funnel — from marketing spend and lead source to appointment set and close
• A demonstrated market-builder — someone who has grown a business from lean to significant scale
• Strong people developer — you build and retain high-performing teams through coaching and accountability
• Analytically driven — you make decisions from data and hold the team to measurable standards
• Comfortable evolving a system rather than executing a static playbook
• Located within 1–2 hours of Belvidere, IL — the operational home base of the business
