Wilderness Medical Staffing is a leading locum tenens healthcare staffing agency specializing in providing skilled nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians to underserved rural and remote communities in Alaska and the Northwestern United States. Position Overview:
The Recruiter’s mission is to use excellent customer service and judgment to recruit a pipeline of highly qualified ‘A Player’ medical providers and to shepherd them through the screening and onboarding process. In this role, the Recruiter will source, interview, and onboard providers for locum assignments with WMS Clients. A successful Recruiter is moving between all the main job functions continuously. The Recruiter must be detail oriented to track conversations and communications and keep the provider’s profile up to date. The Recruiter represents WMS through professionalism, communication, support and follow-up with the providers. The Recruiter then works with the staffing department to find these providers meaningful opportunities to serve rural and remote communities.

Build a talent pool and create a candidate network

Actively source new providers through multiple mediums available at the time.

Skillfullyreview resumes with anunderstandingofthe scope ofexperience, skills and interestswhicharethe right fit for WMS.

Onboard potential A player providers that fit WMS

Ensure the integrity of our data by following all onboarding processes and documentation protocols.

Focus on the provider experience

Establish andmaintainrelationships with prospective and current medical providers and seek out ways to improve their experience with WMS

Grow the network

Work with our team to grow our network of potential providersand place the newly onboarded providers into assignments.

Communicate promptly and effectively

Communicate honestly, promptly, and professionally with providers andmaintainexcellent documentation.

Work cohesively with all of WMS’s departments

Contribute to the strategic plan for our Recruiting department

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience

2+ years of experience working in Locums Staffing
-
Experience in the healthcare field preferred

Experience keeping regular and detailed documentation

Track recordof success inpreviouspositions

Excellent computer skills and experience including Microsoft Office, ATS/CRM software.
Remote (Work-From-Home) Requirements:
-
Must be able to work and keep normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM Pacific or Mountain Standard time).

Dedicated work-from-home space (quiet, private) free of other competing responsibilities at home during work hours.

Must have high-speed internet for video calls and daily job requirements.

This is a remote position. You must be a self-starter who is disciplined and able to manage a busy schedule without direct, in-person supervision.
Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $70k-$80k DOE

Additional Compensation: Quarterly profit sharing

Benefits: Package that includes health insurance, a great PTO plan, and retirement plan with a 4% match, a paid day off for your birthday and annual in-person retreats.
