Thrive & Shine Speech Therapy is hiring for a Speech Language Pathologist with a passion for applying his knowledge to serving each speech patient, and their families with customized therapy plans and compassionate care.

Responsibilities— Clinical Fellowship (CF/SLP):

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty

• Apply knowledge in speech therapy to detect speech problems by having a patient complete basic reading and vocalizing tasks or by giving standardized tests

• Identify speech therapy options, and create / carry out an individualized treatment plan

• Teach speech patients how to make sounds and improve their voice

• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability

• Work with speech patients to improve their ability to read and write correctly

• Work with speech patients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow

• Counsel speech patients with families on how to cope with communication disorders

Qualifications— Clinical Fellowship (CF/SLP):

• Must be willing to work with both In- Clinic & In-Home clients.

• Previous Speech Pathologist experience with demonstrated results

• Some Early Intervention Experience Preferred

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
