JOB SUMMARY:

Responsibilities include managing sales and technical service for Specialty Films division of Madico.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directs and coordinates activities involving sales of manufactured goods, service outlets, technical services, and sales integration with manufacturing.
• Supports all corporate goals and initiatives.
• Reviews sales records and reports to project sales and determine profitability and the development report of sales budgets.
• Advises distributors and representatives on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business and maintenance of good brand image.
• Visits customers, partners and distributors to stimulate demand in sales and the establishment or expansion of sales programs.
• Focuses service staff (customer service or inside sales) to maintain correspondence, bid requests, and order fulfillment and current information on lead times and project status.
• Confers with potential customers regarding product needs and advises customers on types of applications of products.
• Supports the resolution of customer complaints regarding sales and service.
• Assist in the development of new products by delivering information obtained from customers and partners in the respective marketplace.
• Drive and support a good brand image of Madico, its products and services in communication with customers, commercial partners and the community.
• Be an articulate spokesperson in presenting Madico’s products and services to the marketplace.
• Manage corporate strategies to all direct reports.
• Represents company at trade association meetings to promote sales.
• Supervises and manages the positions of Sales staff including Representatives, Technical Sales Representatives, and all partners in sales including distributors.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend tradeshows and other industry events.
• Plan and host corporate client visits and provide necessary entertainment duties.
• Plan and coordinate sales meetings as needed.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (QMS/EMS) RESPONSIBILITIES:

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• B.A./B.S. degree
• 5-7 years sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Management and budget skills and responsibilities in a sales capacity.
• Experience with direct sales as well as manufacturing representatives.
• Technical and Market knowledge of materials science and processes as they apply to films, film laminating and film coating, converting and their applications.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, time management and delegation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple demands and responsibilities.
• Ability to travel >50%.
• Worldwide Travel

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Driver's license and ability to rent automobiles
• Passport
