As a Route Sales Representative (RSR), you’ll deliver, sell, and merchandise a slate of nationally and locally branded fresh bakery products – including Nature’s Own, Dave’s Killer Bread, Wonder Bread, and Canyon Bakehouse - to a variety of customers—grocery stores, convenience stores, dollar stores, schools, and more! You’ll be the face of Flowers Foods, managing your route independently, building customer relationships, and ensuring shelves are always stocked and looking great.

This is a full-time opportunity through Personnel Outsource with a weekly paycheck, competitive earnings, benefits and the chance to grow with a nationally recognized brand. You’ll work every Saturday but enjoy Wednesdays and Sundays off to reset and recharge.

Route Sales Representative Pay & Benefits:

• Once training is concluded, average annual earnings are $58,000 – $64,000 (this includes wages + incentive earnings)

The position requires servicing accounts during customer-designated service windows, which may involve non-traditional business hours, including weekends and holidays. Route Sales Representative’s typically begin their day between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM, averaging 45-55 hours per week, with mandatory work every Saturday and days off on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Key Responsibilities of Route Sales Representative:

• Deliver fresh bakery products to local retail accounts using a 20-foot box truck
• Load, unload, and stock products on shelves
• Rotate and remove stale/damaged product; issue credits as needed
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Utilize a handheld device to create and manage orders
• Execute promotions and in-store displays to increase product visibility
• Follow your assigned route, maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and safety
• Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and company safety standards

Route Sales Representative Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Possess a valid Chauffeur’s license or be willing and able to obtain one and clean driving record
• Able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Lift up to 40 lbs., and able to bend, climb, kneel, and push/pull regularly
• Professional appearance (uniform required)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in route sales, retail, delivery, or DSD
