The Doorman Security serves as the first point of contact for customers entering The Vista Theater. This role involves providing a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring the security and safety of the premises, and delivering exceptional customer service.

We are looking to fill this Part-Time position with hours ranging from 15-25 hours. 2-3 shifts a week. Must be available at nights as this position is evenings/ nights only.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting and Assistance:

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival.
• Must be comfortable working in a high volume fast paced environment.
• Provide directions, information, and assistance regarding purchasing tickets or direct them to the appropriate stand by or ticket holder lines.
• Check bags and remind customers of the no oversized bags, no weapons, and no outside food or beverage policies before entry.
• Address and resolve inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
• Communicate with Management immediately about any suspicious activity or security issues or concerns.
• Relay important information and updates to customers in line.
• Scan and sell tickets as needed.

Access Control:

• Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring only paying customers enter.
• Ensure exits are closed at all times.
• Clear the lobby after each show, and ensure no one is left in the auditorium or restrooms.

Security and Safety:

• Perimeter checks around the building keeping an eye out for suspicious activity.
• Conduct surveillance of the entrances and report any suspicious activity.
• Escort employees to throw out trash or to their cars at the end of the night.
• Will stay until the closing manager is ready to leave for the night.
• Check the auditorium when needed for phone use or disruptive behavior.
• Escort disruptive patrons outside of the building when needed.
• Call local authorities when needed in case of emergencies.
• Report and remove any graffiti.
