Duties

• Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food prep area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Support food safety protocols by following sanitation guidelines and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Assist with cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.
• Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and promote upselling opportunities to increase sales.
• Help with additional tasks like bussing tables or cleaning workstations during slow periods to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Background in food industry roles like cashiering, serving, or food handling will give you an edge.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Experience working in café, retail grocery store, or restaurant environments helps build the foundation for success in this role.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
