Job Summary and Qualifications

Research and resolve Self-Pay accounts through concise understanding of facility and corporate policies and respective state regulations. Position requires individuals with high mathematical acumen, ability to access and assimilate data, articulate a strong case, confidence, and strong persuasion skill set. Results oriented individual required to work through various options available to liquidate the most difficult accounts for resolution. Candidate will demonstrate ability to grow strategic operations support relationships and obtain understanding of systems to navigate through appropriate workflows. Critical thinking skills are necessary, as well as ability to see trends that require escalation to the Operations Support Director. Responsible for bundling similar trends not resolved through the standard operations support process and escalate to appropriate departments for resolution

What you will do in this role:

• Analyzes accounts/reports to identify contractual discrepancies.
• Effectively utilize ERA payment information to identify trends and make recommendations.
• Able to utilize various data sources to drive decisions.
• Work with vendors and other organizations when needed to resolve open accounts receivable.
• Contact vendors via phone or correspondence and initiates request for account resolution.
• Identify problem accounts/processes/trends and escalate as appropriate.
• Identifies system trends and communicates trends to supervisor for further action/escalation. Resolves misstated balances from various departments and vendors.
• Oversee daily reconciliations of accounts to ensure inventory adheres to policy standards.
• Identifies trends driving inventory and practices proactive interdepartmental communication for mass resolution.
• Tracking and following up on trended items to ensure resolution.
• Assist with month end reporting.
• Serves as subject matter expert on Operation Support Processes.
• Proficient in BOBJ and Excel.
• Designs, develops, and maintains daily inventory reports of Correspondence Workflows, eRequest queues, working and monitoring pools, PowerBI, risk scripts.
• Resolves any problems that may arise while compiling the reports. Schedules and meet with OPS Manager and Director for further escalation.
• Manages Business Object scripts used in managing the charity, uninsured discount, MVA, TPL, bankruptcy and estate processes, vendor placement and data mining.
• Monitors and submits monthly calculations of agency placements to ensure SSC remains within defined placement standards.
• Uses Executive Management Reporting application to complete the monthly Vendor Performance reviews.
• Works with managers, team leads and staff when needed to resolve open accounts.
• Articulates any account delays to Operations Support Management.
• Conducts independent analysis of accounts and data to identify pending Medicaid, charity, uninsured discount, self-pay, MVA/TPL, bankruptcy and estates and low balance insurance trends. Reviews data with OPS Manager and Director, as well as vendors for any further action/escalation.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree required. Relevant work experience may substitute degree requirements.
• Two years of related experience required.
