Role Summary: The Senior Human Resources Generalist serves as the lead HR professional for the Wapato warehouse location and oversees all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training and development, workers' compensation, and regulatory compliance. This position partners closely with the HR team and HR Director to implement and coordinate HR strategies, programs, and services that support organizational goals and ensure compliance with federal and Washington State employment laws.
Leadership Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary Human Resources representative for the Wapato location, providing leadership across all HR functions.
· Manage the workers' compensation program, overseeing the full claim lifecycle for both warehouse and orchard employees.
· Oversee OSHA recordkeeping, reporting accuracy, and maintenance of OSHA logs.
· Prepare and submit the annual EEO-1 Report.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
· Advise and coach managers on employment policies, employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices.
· Participate in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives that support organizational objectives.
· Lead and promote required employee training and professional development programs.
· Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Communicate policy updates and ensure employees and managers receive appropriate training and education.
· Lead and oversee employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, investigations, coaching, and disciplinary processes.
· Support recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts.
· Analyze HR trends and recommend improvements to processes and programs.
· Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration required.
· A minimum of 5 years of human resource generalist experience required.
· A minimum of 3 years of human resource supervisory experience required.
· Experience with Paylocity HRIS preferred.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Certificates & Licenses:
· Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SPHR, or CCP certification preferred.

· Frequent standing and walking throughout warehouse and orchard facilities.

· Physical requirements include hearing, seeing, speaking, reaching, handling, and performing repetitive motions.

Pay: $83,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
