SR PROPOSAL MANAGER - US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED!

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Proposal Manager with 8+ years of successfully transforming federal and private business opportunities into high impact, winning proposals. As Sr Proposal Manager, you will help to coordinate and lead the end-to-end proposal process, from initial concept to final submission. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning capabilities, and a keen eye for detail. You will work with a supportive team of professionals and subject matter experts for multiple operating divisions throughout our organization to drive successful proposal development. You will ensure effective communication and coordination with division management teams, timely preparation and delivery of high quality, compliant and competitive proposal products. You will have the specific responsibility to parse RFPs, develop and manage outlines, detailed compliance matrices and proposal schedules; lead proposal development of proposal plan kickoff material, including theming and discriminators; conduct kickoff and checkpoint meetings; perform development and vetting of proposal content, lead all review cycles and incorporate feedback; lead proposal production; and monitor and measure proposal progress and completion status. You will also help train and mentor new staff and support other needs of this busy, successful proposal group.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a Bachelors degree in related field, 8+ years of hand-on proposal management producing small to medium ($100M) federal proposals

Demonstrated expertise in leadership, supervising teams, managing complex projects

Proven track record in business development and strategic planning

In-depth knowledge of how to analyze a solicitation and structure a proposal to be highly compliant, responsive and competitive

Ability to motivate and energize a team to produce a winning proposal and to manage multiple proposal processes simultaneously

Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and SMEs who possess a variety of skills, experience and personalities

Shipley practitioner and APMP certification desired

Microsoft Office advanced skills

Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies to streamline proposal workflow

Proficient in profit/loss analysis to optimize financial outcomes

Excellent communication skills to effectively convey proposal strategies

Pay: $140,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
