Overview

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Senior Project Manager - Construction to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role demands a proactive leader with a passion for delivering high-quality projects on time, within scope, and within budget. As a Senior Project Manager, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, and ensure compliance with all construction regulations. Your expertise will drive project success while fostering a collaborative environment that promotes safety, efficiency, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate all phases of construction.
• Manage project budgets through accurate cost estimation, cost management strategies, and financial tracking utilizing HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools.
• Oversee construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure clarity and compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate construction schedule activities across teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Ensure construction regulatory compliance by adhering to local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office suite for documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Lead project teams by managing performance expectations, providing guidance on contracts and scope changes, and fostering a culture of safety and quality.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, review construction site safety practices, and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports to maintain transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong track record of successful delivery.
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project; familiarity with Schematics is a plus.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software like HeavyBid; experience with project cost management is essential.
• Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation review.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction management environment.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans accurately while managing project scope changes efficiently.
• Construction site experience is required; familiarity with civil engineering principles such as Civil 3D enhances your effectiveness in this role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred; professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are advantageous.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
