Leam Backhoe & Underground, Inc. is a growing underground utility contractor serving California's Central Valley. We specialize in dry utilities, wet utilities, trenching, excavation, concrete, and site development for residential and commercial construction.

We're looking for an experienced Estimator / Project Manager who wants more than just another job. We need someone who can help build systems, manage projects, and grow with our company.

What You'll Do

• Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids
• Review plans, specifications, and project documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs
• Solicit and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Build project budgets and schedules
• Manage projects from award through closeout
• Coordinate with owners, developers, inspectors, and utility companies
• Order materials and schedule crews
• Track production, costs, and profitability
• Manage change orders and contract documentation
• Attend project meetings
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Help improve estimating and project management systems

Qualifications

Preferred experience:

• 5+ years estimating civil or underground utility projects
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs
• Knowledge of excavation and utility construction methods
• Understanding of project scheduling
• Experience managing multiple projects
• Strong communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Computer proficient

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Bluebeam
• Excel
• QuickBooks

Compensation

• Competitive salary based on experience
• Quarterly performance bonus based on company profitability and project performance.
