Job Description: We are seeking a polished Senior Security Engineer to join our Platform Engineering group. In this critical role, you will bridge security strategy and technical implementation, developing automations for security technologies while ensuring Insight's vCISO directives are effectively translated and codified across client platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop automations for security technologies deployed throughout the client environment, including NGFW, SASE/SSE, and EDR solutions • Collaborate with Insight's vCISO (serving Taylor) to translate security policies into platform-specific configurations and code • Ensure security policies are consistently applied and maintained across all client infrastructure • Support the Platform Engineering group in integrating security best practices into automation workflows • Provide technical expertise in identity services and emerging security technologies Required Qualifications • Proven expertise in modern security technologies: NGFW, SASE/SSE, EDR, and identity services • Strong background in security automation and infrastructure-as-code practices • Ability to translate high-level security policies into technical implementations • Experience working within platform engineering or DevSecOps environments • Excellent communication skills to work across security and engineering teams What We're Looking For A polished professional who combines deep security technology knowledge with automation development skills and the ability to align technical solutions with strategic security governance.
