Join our team as a server/waiter/waitress at the Blue Gate Restaurant, a themed restaurant in Shipshewana, Indiana. A server/waiter/waitress should be friendly, outgoing, and focused on providing excellent service to each guest! Your job duties include:

• Welcoming guests.
• Guiding them through the menu.
• Offering personalized suggestions.
• Taking and processing accurate orders.
• Delivering food and drinks promptly.
• Doing side work as assigned.

A year-round server/waiter/waitress will work three to five days a week, between 10:00 am and closing, typically around 9:00 pm, including evenings and Saturdays. We have six-hour and ten-hour shifts. A server can earn between $100 and $300 per shift, including hourly wages and daily tips. This is not a seasonal or temporary job!

Server/Waiter/Waitress Requirements:

• Must be willing and available to work on days, nights, weekends (Fridays and Saturdays), and holidays.
• Complete knowledge of the restaurant menu and understanding of the Blue Gate Hospitality properties and offerings.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Warm, welcoming personality.
• Attention to detail.
• Actively practice teamwork.
• Observe a themed dress code.
• Amish-style dress with an apron (Women)
• Black pants and buttoned-down shirt (Men)
• Tattoos must be covered.
• Multi-tasking, listening, and communication skills.
• Perform the physical demands: lift and carry up to 30 pounds, remain on your feet for several hours, work under pressure, and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and stooping.
