For our Expeditor position, we are looking for someone who is available to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and weekends, as those are some of our busiest days. At the Krowned Anchor, we believe in cross training our team members. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn multiple areas of the kitchen, allowing you to fill in where needed, gain valuable experience, and pick up additional shifts when available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to facilitate smooth order flow and timely delivery of dishes
• Verify order accuracy and ensure all food items meet quality standards before serving
• Communicate effectively with cooks, bartenders, and front-of-house team to resolve any issues quickly
• Monitor food preparation progress and prioritize tasks to meet service deadlines
• Assist with food handling, plating, and presentation to uphold restaurant standards
• Support with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area when needed
• Uphold food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and food handling procedures
• Strong communication skills to coordinate efficiently with team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with banquet service or hotel hospitality is a plus
• Basic understanding of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service and supporting a positive team atmosphere
