Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker, where your energy and precision will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo lifts, to efficiently load, unload, and organize materials. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and materials handling will ensure smooth distribution processes. Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments.
• Pick orders accurately using order picker equipment and ensure correct items are prepared for shipping.
• Manage inventory movements within the warehouse using warehouse management systems (WMS), maintaining precise records of stock levels.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Perform routine equipment repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials efficiently and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and improve overall workflow.

Skills

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for order picking, load calculations, and inventory counts.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues or assist with repairs.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation.
• Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking and shipping/receiving documentation.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and warehouse supervisors.
