The Role

This is not a typical Product Manager position. As our Product Manager – Software Development & GIS Technology, you will take direct ownership of our next-generation GIS and technology platform. You will be the driving force behind product architecture decisions, software development and vendor management that will define Treebo's future. You will work closely with company leadership to shape what we build and how our technology reaches the market. This is a rare, ground-floor opportunity to leave a lasting mark on both a product and a company.

What You'll Do

• Take over the full product lifecycle — from concept and architecture through development, launch, and iteration
• Lead and manage relationships with external software development vendors and contractors
• Maintain the product roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs
• Translate complex GIS, LiDAR, and spatial data requirements into clear technical specifications
• Collaborate with leadership to establish long-term technology strategy and company direction
• Identify technical risks early and drive solutions across engineering, design, and operations
• Champion a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improveme

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven background in software architecture, design, and development
• Hands-on programming experience (ability to read, evaluate, and engage with code)
• GIS experience — either as a developer or power user of GIS platforms and tools
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Experience at a large technology company (Big Tech background) OR Startup experience with demonstrated comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environme

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience managing software vendors or development teams
• Familiarity with LiDAR, aerial data, remote sensing, or related geospatial technologies
• Previous transition from a senior engineering or architecture role into product management
