A private equity-focused research and advisory firm specializing in healthcare reimbursement and regulatory due diligence is seeking a Senior Business Development Associate to expand deal flow, strengthen client relationships, and drive revenue growth across financial sponsor and healthcare markets.

This role partners closely with private equity investors, investment bankers, lenders, and corporate stakeholders to develop new business opportunities and deepen existing client relationships. The individual operates with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to use strong judgment, communication skills, and market knowledge to grow the firm’s presence.

This is a remote role in the NYC area. No office requirement but you will meet with clients around the city.

Base salary in the $100k-$115k range with an all range for year two of $200k+

Responsibilities

• Source and convert leads into new client relationships to support revenue growth
• Maintain and expand relationships within existing client account
• Manage inbound opportunities from initial contact through intake and qualification
• Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting to private equity firms and healthcare organizations
• Drive increased engagement and deal flow across existing client portfolios
• Develop and strengthen relationships across financial sponsors and healthcare stakeholders
• Initiate and build long-term client relationships to support recurring engagement
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and affiliated legal partners on client requests and deliverables
• Travel frequently to investor conferences and targeted marketing events to generate new business opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
• Experience working with CRM tools such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing meetings and outreach coordination
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage follow-ups effectively
• Experience managing client engagement tracking and conflict check systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• High level of discretion when handling confidential information
