ITCON is seeking a Sr. Helix IDHub Professional to support a Federal agency in Washington, DC.

The Sr. Helix IDHub Professional supports and maintains the BMC Helix IT Service Management (ITSM) system. The Helix system is utilized by staff to support the community The team has a requirement to supplement its staff with contract resources to aid in the continuing development of its custom Helix AR System-based Identity Management solution.

The staff uses the BMC Helix ITSM 26.2 SaaS system to automate and improve workflows in support of leadership, members, committees and support offices via the Helix Asset, Incident, Change, Knowledge, Service Request Management modules, in addition to Smart IT and Digital Workplace Advanced, Innovation Studio, and several AR System custom-built applications to include Identity Management.

All Helix services are supported by FTE Engineers. With the continuing expansion of new services provided within the Helix system, and implementation of the Identity Management module, the team will not have the Client to efficiently expand, maintain, and support those services while also continuing to support the existing functionality.

The senior consultant should have extensive experience developing in both the AR System Developer Studio, BMC Innovation Studio, BMC Pentaho Spoon, BMC Digital Workplace Advanced, BMC Digital Workplace Catalog, and demonstrated experience integrating Helix solutions with external systems using some of the following technologies:

• Oracle DB Links
• Microsoft SQL Linked Servers
• Postgres SQL
• Pentaho Spoon
• REST API
• JDBC
• HTML and CSS
• JavaScript

The consultant will be involved with the planning, development, and implementation of additional Identity Management functionality and integrations and will report to the System and Business project leads.

The consultant will be responsible for delivering design plans, development plans and complete documentation of development efforts to include new, modified and/or removed objects implemented to deliver the solution.

Senior Consultant required qualifications:

• Five or more years of extensive hands-on experience supporting, developing, and customizing, the AR System and ITSM suite, developing Innovation Studio applications and integrations, BMC Dashboards and Yellowfin BI reports, and integrating Helix systems with external internal and cloud-based systems.
