Program Overview
Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts.
Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
To be eligible for consideration, students must be projected 2028 graduates and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.
POSITION
As a Summer Analyst on the Technology & Operations COO team, this individual will be responsible for detailed business requirements analysis and project management of technology projects across our Advisor Desktop and Client Portal. This individual will work with various teams to understand business problems and partner with technology to define, develop, and deliver the appropriate solutions. This individual will partner with our user experience (UX) design and quality assurance (QA) teams, who are an integral part of the fabric that surrounds our technology engineers. This role is pivotal in bringing business and technology together to deliver critical objectives for the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand current and future business processes and procedures.

Translate business processes into detailed business, system, and operational requirements.

Collaborate with the UX team to design intuitive, efficient screens for end users.

Coordinate project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to define action plans and delivery milestones.

Develop user stories and participate in grooming sessions to refine feature requirements and designs with developers.

Use AI tools to support day-to-day work, including requirements for documentation, UX design, application development, and testing.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Interest in computer science or information technology, with relevant exposure preferred.

Experience leading or contributing effectively within collaborative teams.

Ability to break complex objectives into prioritized tasks aligned to an overall delivery plan.
Skills:
- Strong technical and business writing skills.

Professional presence and confidence facilitating smaller meetings.

Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools, such as Jira.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Adaptable and comfortable working through ambiguity.

Basic understanding of financial services, especially wealth management.

Compensation Range:
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $35.00/hour. Salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of this rate.
