General Summary:
The Program Manager oversees cross-functional team collaboration to ensure the successful execution and delivery of assigned projects within defined constraints of time, budget, and scope. Serving as the primary liaison, this role manages critical client communications and translates external requirements into actionable project milestones. The Program Manager must maintain exceptional professional relationships with both corporate clients and internal production teams, consistently upholding the company’s highest standards of ethical conduct and representation.
Duties/Responsibilities
Qualifications and Skills:
· Proven success executing complex Department of Defense or military manufacturing programs.
· Familiarity with government procurement processes and defense acquisition lifecycles.
· Ability to interpret Technical Data Packages and guide programs featuring precision CNC machining, welding fabrications, assembly and CARC painting.
· Strong verbal and written skills to present program metrics and strategies to internal shop teams and defense clients.
· Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across engineering, purchasing, and the production floor.
· U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree required; Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or business preferred (or equivalent combined education/experience).
· Minimum of 7 years of Program Management experience in defense, aerospace, or heavy manufacturing.
· Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, including bills of materials, material planning, and scheduling.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time salaried (Exempt) position requiring 40 to 50 hours per week based on workload. The regular work week is Monday through Friday, though weekend availability may be required in a support role to meet crucial manufacturing schedules and customer deliverables. Duties are performed in a dual setting, requiring an active presence in both a professional office environment and on the manufacturing shop floor.
