The Talent Acquisition Manager leads the organization's recruitment strategy and hiring processes to attract, engage, and retain top talent. This role oversees full-cycle recruiting, employer branding, workforce planning, and talent acquisition programs while partnering closely with business leaders and HR teams to meet current and future staffing needs. The Talent Acquisition Manager develops recruiting best practices, manages recruitment metrics, ensures exceptional candidate experience, and leads initiatives that strengthen the organization's competitive position in the talent market.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the organization's talent acquisition strategy to attract, recruit, and hire qualified talent aligned with business objectives and workforce plans.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding coordination.
- Manage recruiting operations, including applicant tracking systems, recruitment technologies, vendor relationships, agency partnerships, and recruitment marketing programs.
- Partner with business leaders to forecast workforce needs and establish hiring priorities.
- Design and implement innovative recruiting strategies for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through strategic sourcing, networking, workforce planning initiatives, employer branding efforts, and external partnerships.
- Lead, coach, and develop talent acquisition team members while establishing performance expectations and fostering a high-performing recruiting function.
- Establish, monitor, and report on recruiting metrics, hiring trends, labor market conditions, and workforce analytics to drive data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular recruiting updates, workforce insights, and talent recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, recruiting policies, and talent acquisition processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent work experience. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or Talent Acquisition certification a plus.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive talent acquisition experience and at least two (2) years of management experience.
Travel: Up to 20% of travel as required.
Skills & Abilities
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing methodologies and recruiting technologies.
- Expertise in ATS platforms and recruiting technology solutions (UKG and SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred).
- Solid experience with workforce planning and talent analytics, including experience monitoring and reporting on critical recruitment KPIs.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make decisions with sound judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain stationary at a desk for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to go to site frequently and move safely around industrial and/or warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Ability to operate computers, tablets, phones, and other electronic devices.
- Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing, on a frequent basis.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to job site temperature fluctuations due to seasonal weather in geographic region.
