Namaste Montessori of Peters is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Lead Toddler Guide to join our team immediately. This position is being offered as a temporary assignment to provide continuity for our children during a staff leave, with the potential to become a permanent position based on program needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Montessori educator—or someone eager to grow in Montessori education—to step into a well-established Toddler classroom serving children 16 months to 3 years old. You'll work alongside experienced Assistant Teachers in a supportive, collaborative environment where relationships, respect, and joyful learning are at the heart of everything we do.

What You'll Do

• Lead a nurturing, engaging Montessori Toddler classroom.
• Foster each child's independence, confidence, and love of learning.
• Prepare and maintain a beautiful, developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Observe, document, and support each child's growth.
• Build strong, positive relationships with families.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team that values professionalism, respect, and continuous learning.

• Brings warmth, patience, positivity, and a genuine love for working with toddlers.
• Believes in child-centered education and respects each child's unique developmental journey.
• Works well as part of a collaborative team and values open communication.
• Is flexible, dependable, and committed to providing consistency for children.

Qualifications

• Montessori Infant/Toddler credential preferred (Early Childhood credential also considered).
• Experience in a Montessori Infant/Toddler classroom required.
• Candidates without Montessori certification who are passionate about the Montessori philosophy are encouraged to apply. Namaste will provide training and sponsor Montessori certification for the right candidate.
