Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Website/Marketing Manager with proven experience in the hunting, shooting, and firearms industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce, website management and customization on a WordPress platform along with SEO, digital ad strategy, print/media design, and content development. Photography, videography, and editing skills are a major plus. This is a hands-on role with the ability to multi-task and self-lead.

Key Responsibilities:

E-Commerce & Web Management (WordPress):

• Oversee daily operations and product updates on our WordPress based e-commerce platform. Manage our website platform in its entirety.
• Manage product listings, descriptions, SEO, promotions, and category organization.
• Work with internal team on product launches, inventory updates, and user experience improvements.

Digital Strategy & SEO:

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that drive traffic, conversions, and sales.
• Optimize website content and structure for organic search rankings.
• Use tools to monitor and improve performance.

Content & Design:

• Create and manage digital and print marketing assets including ads, brochures, email campaigns, banners, and packaging.
• Collaborate with Media Specialist on brand and campaign photography/videography — editing experience is a strong bonus.
• Work with photographers, content creators, and ambassadors to develop authentic brand stories.

Social Media & Email Marketing:

• Manage Media specialists to maintain social media calendars and content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Ect..).
• Monitor engagement and adapt strategies to grow community and brand reach.
• Design and deploy email campaigns for product updates, events, and promotions.

Print & Media Design:

• Design or coordinate materials for trade shows, in-store signage, catalogs, and advertisements.
• Ensure brand consistency across all digital and physical assets.

Industry Involvement & Collaboration:

• Leverage your understanding and network within the hunting, firearms, and long-range shooting industry.
• Work with influencers, pro staff, and media contacts to boost brand visibility.
• Stay on top of marketing trends in the outdoor space

Photo and Videos:

• Capture still images inside and outside of the shop of finished products and production of products. Edit and deploy photos across social media, website, and other areas as needed.

• Having camera gear is a strong plus, Snowy Mountain Rifle Co. has a strong selection of in-house camera gear.
• Experience with photo and video editing is a strong plus.

Travel:

• Applicant will need the ability to travel frequently through the year, 10-30 plus days a year to trade shows, hunts, shooting schools, events, etc.…
• The ideal applicant will have the ability to shoot photos and videos at these events, edit the content and deploy the content.

Sales:

• While this is not a sales-based role the ideal applicant will have strong communication skills and the ability to help with customer sales and questions when needed in-house and while traveling to events.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3–5+ years of experience in website design and management, marketing, preferably in the firearms or hunting industry.
• Proficient with WordPress.
• Strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital performance tracking.
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) required; Lightroom, Premiere Pro a plus.
• Experience in photography/videography is a major advantage.
• Strong copywriting and editing skills.
• Excellent organization and time management with the ability to manage multiple campaigns.
• Passion for the outdoors, hunting, shooting, and the firearms community.

Requirements:

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Hamilton, MT (this is an in-person role).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be comfortable working around firearms and in a firearm-manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (but experience speaks louder).
• Must be able to travel to hunts, events and trade shows.
