Job Overview
We are seeking a few detail-oriented plant enthusiasts to join our growing team as part time packers for our growing niche houseplant business!

Every plant is unique here, and applicants will need to be flexible and willing to learn several precise processes and tasks to ensure our plants arrive safely to our customers around the country.

The ideal candidate has online order fulfillment experience and either formal horticulture training or is familiar with the high end houseplant community and maintains a collection of their own at home.

Responsibilities

• Pick, prep, pack, seal, and label outbound orders.
• Meet daily fulfillment benchmarks and deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to clean and restock packing stations daily.
• Assist with weekly inventory of packing supplies.

Required

• 1+ years of online order fulfillment experience
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to perform repetitive tasks to a high degree of accuracy every time. The plants we grow and sell are a premium product and require precise preparation and packing techniques to safely ship them to our customers (training will be provided).

Preferred Experience

• Associates or Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1-2+ years in a warehouse or order fulfillment environment.
• Previous experience in a nursery or greenhouse or experience with a sizeable personal collection.
• Existing passion for houseplants and plant care.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift such as shelf/rack rearrangement and movement of supply boxes, crouching to water lower shelves of plants, retrieving boxes at ground level for supply boxes, etc...

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

• Monday - Wednesday 8:30am-5:00 PM
• No weekends

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
