Candidates must possess great work ethic, dependability, and trustworthiness. Must have experience in Payroll, Accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger. Experience with financial statements is a bonus but not a requirement. Salary commensurate of experience. We are a privately owned family company who has been in business for 40 years and is continually expanding. There is room for growth to the senior controller position with in 3 years or sooner.

Duties

• Support the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis.
• Prepare and review General Ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct cash management activities, including forecasting and budgeting for operational needs.
• Maintain the general ledger accounting system, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
• Perform technical accounting tasks related to payroll processing and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Utilize accounting software such as Sage Business works and excel.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support to external
• auditors.
• Work with SSCS to close out daily store reports.

Requirements

• Experience with general ledger reconciliation, account reconciliation, debits & credits, and financial software applications.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $78,500.00 per year
