Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors safely and efficiently
• Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients with proper hygiene practices to prevent contamination
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas through regular cleaning and sanitation
• Support food preparation tasks including slicing, dicing, portioning, and plating dishes with precision
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while adhering to safety standards in production
• Assist with catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely meal service

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with a focus on quality service
• Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environment
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure
• Effective communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
• Knowledge of the food industry trends, catering experience, and serving skills enhance your versatility in this role

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
