Description
As a leader and experimentation expert, you will build and execute a multi-year strategy to design and build the best-in-class online experimentation system at Apple.
Collaborating closely with partners across the company, you will define the technical vision, grow a high-performing team, and deliver infrastructure that lets scores of teams run rigorous experiments at scale, driving improvements in some of the most used features and software worldwide.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with on-device or embedded system experimentation.
Background in modern evaluation systems and programs.
Background working with machine learning or AI-driven product teams.
Hands-on experience in conducting experiments in the operating system layer.
Minimum Qualifications
12+ years of experience as a technical engineering leader.
Proven experience leading teams that have built and scaled experimentation or A/B testing platforms in a service-oriented architecture.
Deep understanding of the statistical foundations of experimentation, including the trade-offs of experiment design.
Strong track record of translating ambiguous, long-horizon problems into concrete engineering plans.
Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to align diverse stakeholders on shared infrastructure.
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $205,400 and $374,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
