Event Marketing Lead
Location: York, PA
Hours: 40 Hours
Working Pattern: Full-time, Hybrid with Travel Across the U.S.
Step into a career with A-SAFE, a global leader in industrial safety solutions, where operational excellence, innovation, and growth come together.
As the Event Marketing Lead, you will take ownership of A-SAFE’s U.S. exhibition programme, ensuring events are delivered efficiently, consistently, and cost-effectively from planning through to post-show evaluation. This is a hands-on operational leadership role that combines exhibition logistics, asset management, supplier coordination, budget control, and event marketing to create a scalable exhibition model that supports business growth.
You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations, warehouse teams, and external partners to ensure every exhibition is executed to a high standard while maximizing asset reuse, controlling costs, and delivering measurable commercial outcomes. If you enjoy managing complex projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and building efficient processes that drive results, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.
How you will make an impact:-
Own and manage A-SAFE’s U.S. exhibition roadmap, operational plans, and budgets, ensuring each event has clear objectives, appropriate investment levels, and defined success measures.
-
Develop and implement a tiered exhibition framework, delivering tailored solutions for major events while creating standardized, reusable exhibition kits for regional and local events.
-
Manage exhibition logistics from planning through execution, including freight, shipping, warehousing, installation, dismantle, show services, and asset returns.
-
Maintain complete visibility and control of exhibition assets, ensuring inventory records are accurate, assets are properly maintained, and reusable materials are deployed efficiently.
-
Coordinate booth design, displays, graphics, demonstrations, AV equipment, and branded materials to support commercial objectives and deliver a consistent brand experience.
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, venues, and logistics providers while negotiating costs and monitoring performance.
-
Track event budgets, manage quotations and invoices, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
-
Support event-related marketing activities, including campaign coordination, lead capture processes, CRM tracking, and Sales enablement initiatives.
-
Produce post-event analysis and reporting, evaluating operational performance, lead generation, pipeline influence, ROI, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
-
Act as the on-site operational lead for priority events, ensuring successful setup, issue resolution, quality control, teardown, and return logistics.
What we are looking for:
-
Proven experience managing exhibitions, trade shows, event operations, exhibition logistics, or other asset-intensive programs.
-
Strong knowledge of freight management, shipping, warehousing, material handling, installation, dismantle, and event logistics processes.
-
Experience managing physical inventories, reusable assets, product samples, equipment, or standardized event kits across multiple events or locations.
-
Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate timelines, suppliers, budgets, documentation, and multiple concurrent projects.
-
Strong vendor management experience, including obtaining quotations, negotiating costs, managing contracts, and controlling expenditures.
-
Comfortable coordinating booth production, graphics, displays, AV equipment, furniture, storage solutions, and branded materials.
-
Analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to measure operational performance and business impact using meaningful KPIs.
-
Familiarity with digital marketing, CRM systems, lead capture processes, marketing automation, and Sales follow-up activities is highly desirable.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with HubSpot, inventory systems, or project management tools is advantageous.
-
Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of processes, assets, suppliers, and results.
-
A practical problem-solver who remains calm under pressure and can quickly adapt when plans change during live events.
-
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
-
Willingness to travel throughout the United States to support exhibitions, supplier visits, and warehouse operations as required.
