Role:
The Health Center Engagement and Recruitment Lead is responsible for planning and executing outreach, recruitment, onboarding, and engagement activities that support participation in program initiatives. This individual serves as the primary lead for participant recruitment strategies, relationship management, onboarding processes, and retention efforts. The Health Center Engagement and Recruitment Lead works closely with partner organizations, healthcare stakeholders, and program leadership to ensure strong participation and sustained engagement throughout the program lifecycle.
Duties:
The Health Center Engagement and Recruitment Lead will:
Outreach & Recruitment

Develop and implement national outreach and recruitment strategies to identify and engage eligible healthcare organizations and stakeholders.

Coordinate recruitment campaigns, informational sessions, and outreach activities to support participation goals.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholder organizations and professional networks to support recruitment efforts.
Participant Onboarding & Engagement

Lead onboarding activities, orientation sessions, and ongoing participant communications.

Develop engagement strategies that promote active participation throughout the program lifecycle.

Monitor participation trends and implement retention strategies to maintain program involvement and satisfaction.
Relationship Management

Serve as a primary point of contact for participating organizations and external partners.

Foster collaborative relationships with healthcare associations, provider networks, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders.

Collect participant feedback and recommendations to improve engagement activities and participant experience.
Program Coordination & Reporting

Collaborate with program leadership and technical teams to align engagement activities with overall program objectives.

Track recruitment, participation, and retention metrics and prepare reports on engagement outcomes.

Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying challenges, lessons learned, and opportunities to strengthen outreach and engagement strategies.
Education:
-
Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a closely related field.

Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
Required Experience and Skills:

Minimum seven (7) years of experience working with or providing services to federally qualified health centers, Primary Care Associations (PCAs), Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs), or comparable community healthcare organizations.

Demonstrated experience managing national outreach, recruitment, or engagement campaigns targeting healthcare providers, community health organizations, or underserved populations.

Experience managing participant recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention activities for multi-year programs or initiatives.

Strong relationship-building, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups and priorities in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills:

Experience supporting federally funded healthcare programs or national healthcare initiatives.

Established relationships with healthcare associations, provider networks, community-based healthcare organizations, or related stakeholder groups.

Experience leading learning collaboratives, technical assistance programs, training initiatives, or community engagement efforts.

Familiarity with healthcare workforce, clinical operations, care delivery, or health center environments.

Experience developing outreach materials, communication strategies, and participant engagement campaigns.

Experience working with geographically diverse and remote participant populations.
